Performing music commenting on words and music, touching the spirit with sensitivity, emotion and downright silliness and weirdness. The music of three Vermonters, Allen Shawn, Peter Matthews and Derrik Jordan responding to words, the spirit and African traditions with a heartfelt remembrance of a child’s death (George Rochberg’s "Ricordanza") and music written responding to the very creative poems of Lawrence Ferlinghetti (Libby Larsen’s "Ferlinghetti").
